This is such a great class! First one I took with Matt Callison and it made me a convert… ended up doing the entire SMAC program afterwards!
I’m using the skills I learned in the SMAC program so much in the clinic now. It’s been a while since I took a course where the information supported my existing clientele, rather than trying to wedge new techniques that do not work for me in my practice. I’ve heard several remarks already from patients that I’m more knowledgeable and confident. I feel that way, too. Thank you!!!
I just wanted to say that after taking my first class with Matt Callison, I was a little concerned about taking the class with Ian Armstrong for this upcoming Module. I was not disappointed in the least and thought that he filled his shoes magnificently! Great job and I am looking forward to the Lower Extremity Module III in September.
I just wanted to say thanks again for an awesome course this past weekend! I learned and absorbed soooo much in 4 days and it filled such a big gap I had in my assessment of injuries. I am beyond thrilled to be continuing the SMAC program and continuing to grow my practice with these essential tools to be successful in this field. FYI, I just tested a patient’s supraspinatus muscle for weakness and used abductor digiti minimi MEP as ‘acupuncture as an assessment’ and she was 50% stronger after needling. She said, ‘How come you haven’t done this cool thing before!?’
In addition, I used the extra point Jingbi that I learned in class on a recent patient and her TOS symptoms are virtually gone!
Thank you, I am looking forward to the next Module!!!
The program’s layered and thoughtfully designed curriculum integrates Western anatomical and biomechanical principles with full preservation of Traditional Chinese Medicine framework and theory. This comprehensive approach is valuable — not only for injury rehabilitation, but also in treating chronic pain and other orthopedic concerns. The ability to assess and balance meridians with greater precision significantly enhances my clinical reasoning, treatment outcomes, and ongoing professional development. This certification offers an exceptional depth of clinically relevant knowledge that continues to transform my daily practice.
I just completed all four modules this past year with Matt, and I feel incredibly honored to have been one of his students. What Matt has done for our profession is truly groundbreaking. No one in our generation has elevated traditional acupuncture to the level he has, combining ancient wisdom with modern sports medicine to produce immediate and lasting results.
His seminars are thoughtfully structured to ensure we fully understand each concept. Matt always welcomes questions, creating an open and supportive environment that allows us to confidently apply what we learn to our patients the very next day. He personally demonstrates each new technique, and we practice under the close supervision of his highly skilled team to ensure we are doing everything correctly.
Matt’s dedication, depth of knowledge, and passion for advancing acupuncture are unmatched. I have no doubt that his work will continue to influence and inspire future generations of acupuncturists and the countless patients they will help.
In the 21 years of taking various acupuncture CEU courses, Matt Callison’s SMAC classes are the best! Practical and detailed information taught in a clear manner, which an acupuncturist can take a class and immediately put the techniques into practice come Monday morning.
I recently completed my first module of the SMAC program in San Diego, under the direction of Mr. Matt Callison. Since it was my first course in the series, I was not sure about what exactly to expect. Even after having completed my entire degree program in China over a period of several years at some of the top TCM universities in the world, and having a rather extensive background, it became very clear to me from the onset of the course that I had not even scratched the surface of what Matt has brought to the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
He has truly pioneered the integration of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and the science of Sports Medicine into a revolutionary Sports Medicine Acupuncture program. In my estimation, his knowledge and understanding of the field are unparalleled, and his book, Sports Medicine Acupuncture, is simply stated the authoritative text on the subject. Moreover, Matt is humble, generous, patient and is truly passionate about sharing his work.
I have already enrolled in the next course, and would highly recommend both Matt Callison and his incredible book to anyone wishing to learn this fascinating and rewarding topic. You will not be disappointed.
I LOVED the Low Back, Hip & Groin class!!! So much information (obviously building on the other two modules), and I can’t wait to use the techniques with several of my patients! One aspect that makes AcuSport different than most programs/classes offered is its ability to empower both the practitioner AND the patient. This comes from the combination of in-depth study of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, Chinese Medical Sinew Systems (integration of organ system and internal TCM), and the PACE classes.
I’m babbling, and was actually starting to babble more, but the quicker version is that through the techniques that help induce proprioception for the patient, and the PACE exercises, the patient has a whole new outlook on their body and their health. (Also, Matt was kind and worked on my ankle and it COMPLETELY changed my perspective of my own issues and I am sooooo EXCITED!) Thank you!

Reviews from C.SMA graduates and SMAC students over the years…
My clinic is thriving and fully booked every week. I often show the patient the Sports Medicine Acupuncture textbook, explain their diagnosis, and outline the treatment plan. I recently graduated from the doctoral program at the Pacific College of Health and Science. I wish every school would put the Sports Medicine Acupuncture program in the curriculum because the program has laid out the complete outline from anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, musculoskeletal system, pathology and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment, adjunct with physical therapy knowledge, myofascial release, and rehabilitation exercises. I understand why I do what I do and how I am going to approach my patient’s pain effectively.
Your program has been a big part of my successful career. Thank you!
Hard to believe this was my last in-person module of the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification Program in San Diego. My acupuncture practice has evolved so much thanks to the in-depth and hands-on training I received from Matt Callison and his incredible teaching assistants. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for all the knowledge and one-on-one support I have received from Matt and the Sports Medicine Acupuncture team. Looking forward to bringing all this acu-goodness back to Canada!
Matt, I wanted to let you know that I have had 2 new shoulder patients since I have gotten back from the MIV Neck, Shoulder and Upper Extremity class. One patient has TOS and the other patient has torn a labrum and bilateral rotator cuff muscle strains. I was able to help both find relief. I would have been lost without that training, in the sense of not feeling confident where the problem was stemming from. A big thank you!
I want to share with everyone that the SMAC program is extraordinary. It is hands down the single best professional training investment I’ve ever made. What an honor it is to learn from Matt and his faculty. Matt’s humility and good nature is refreshing. The way the information is presented brings out the best in the students; the instructors build us up and their positive encouragement keeps us going in the midst of a legitimately rigorous training program. Sports Medicine Acupuncture is creating a paradigm shift not just in the acupuncture and sports medicine professions but in the health and wellness field in general. This stuff is legendary.
I just graduated from the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification Program! Words are not enough to thank Matt and the SMAC team for this opportunity; I am already reaping the benefits. In my opinion, Matt is the best man in the industry. You can feel his work passion in his classroom. Such an intelligent, super smart, yet very down to earth person.
As a former engineer, I really appreciate his techniques. It’s like solving an equation; that’s why his teachings are super engaging and very effective. I love how he puts TCM philosophies and advanced needling techniques together.
With the knowledge I gained from SMAC, it allows me to fulfill my goal of helping people improve their quality of life. THANK YOU!
From the beginning, it was evident that the SMAC program led by Matt Callison and team was crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a profound understanding of TCM theory, acupuncture, and sports medicine. Matt’s expertise, depth of knowledge, and passion for the subject matter are truly inspiring. Not only did he provide comprehensive theoretical foundations, but he also seamlessly integrated practical applications, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
I am truly impressed by the depth of insight and practical skills I’ve acquired through this program. It has not only enhanced my professional capabilities but has also instilled in me an even greater appreciation for the intersection of sports medicine and acupuncture.
I’ve been away on a training stint in San Diego with Matt Callison of Sports Medicine Acupuncture! I am grateful for the opportunity to enhance my skills and learn from a group of such highly skilled acupuncturists. Thank you for your 30+ years of experience!
I have learned a whole slew of new skills like joint mobilizations and advanced acupuncture and myofascial techniques. My understanding of pelvic imbalances, low back, hip and lower extremity injuries has significantly deepened. Thank you!
I just had my first Occiput-C1 fixation the other day. My patient has binocular vision disorder and was in a car accident 3 weeks ago that left her pretty banged up. We had her feeling so much better by the end! Her psoas muscles tested strong, but I really suspected an Occiput/C1 fixation. It was a hidden fixation as you taught in class! I had her do the no-yes (flexion/extension) movement and both psoas failed spectacularly. I treated it as prescribed in class using SI 3/UB 62, UB 10 and GB 20 (suboccipital muscles). We retested her after the treatment (with the head movement) and those psoas muscles tested super strong! She has hope. I’m super stoked, and I can’t wait to learn more.
By the way, just in the last week alone I’ve treated at least half a dozen fixated sacrums. It’s really common, I’m finding! And this work is getting the most awesome results. I’m over the moon!! Thought I should share. Can’t wait for April! Thanks again for the amazing education!
I just completed Module 1, which is Vertebral Fixations, and I am already SO GLAD I finally started this program. I live in New Jersey so I kept putting this off, but now that 75% of the program is online, I just ran out of excuses. I have always focused on women’s health and fertility, but when the more challenging orthopedic cases came my way over the almost 20 years I’ve been in practice, I knew I could get better results if I had the structure and information of the SMAC program.
Long story short, after completing the in-person needling/treatment course of Module 1, my motor point needle technique, confidence, and subsequent results have skyrocketed! Range of motion increases right after treatment, and I am so much more diligent now at following the exact angle, location, and depth outlined in the updated motor point handbook. I used to tell myself I would get the exact location but then end up reverting back to the old habit of using ASHI points. Now I persist with the location, depth, and angle, which ALWAYS yields results.
Many thanks to Matt, Brian, Ian, Patricia, and the whole SMAC team for making this all possible, especially for those of us who cannot easily travel to the west coast.
The Sports Medicine Acupuncture program is the best certification I have completed in my 21 years as an acupuncturist. I have practiced orthopedic and sports medicine for the entire time and this program has taken my knowledge and skill to the next level. The passion and knowledge that Matt, Brian and Ian have is second to none. They really take the time to make sure everything is well thought out and presented in a systematic way to help you get the most out of the class.
The way that Chinese medicine is incorporated into the musculoskeletal system is fascinating. Whether you are new to orthopedics and sports medicine or have been practicing it for a long time, this program will be one of the best things you could do for yourself and your patients.
I recently completed the SMA’s new 5 Day Assessment & Treatment of the Low Back, Hip and Groin Injuries (Mod II ATI) in San Diego and it was well worth the time and expense to take the course a second time. I became a C.SMA in 2017, and although much of the course was a useful review of what was covered five years ago, there was a significant amount of new material that is of enormous value to my practice. Matt continues to refine his assessment skills and treatment techniques and shares his found knowledge and experiences with students.
I particularly appreciated the extensive discussion of the assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor, as I have increasing numbers of patients who would benefit from these treatments. Acupuncture is a far less invasive complement to the pelvic floor PT that many patients are currently pursuing, and I find huge value in knowing how to help this population.
I just had my first two days of dissection with Matt and Brian in the SMAC program. I’ve been through maybe 8 or 9 of these cadaver labs, first as an observer and then as an assistant, but this was my first time actually getting to perform parts of the dissection. I’m deeply grateful that Matt and Brian trusted me not to mess up and I’m also very humbled and awestruck by the experience of actually separating the tissues and discovering the structures within.
For anyone who hasn’t attended these seminars I highly, highly recommend that you give it a try. I can’t think of a more profound way to learn anatomy and deepen your understanding of how you’re affecting the body with acupuncture, myofascial work, or exercise therapy. Thanks Matt and Brian!
I just wanted to say a huge heartfelt thank you for all the energy and effort you put into the course last week. I am so grateful to have had this in-person training time to inspire and deepen my practice. You are a very skilled and compassionate teacher and I thank you for your dedication to the field and for sharing so many valuable clinical pearls. I look forward to completing more courses soon.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your wisdom with us with such humility and clarity. ‘When the student is ready the teacher appears.’ This quote resonates deeply for me and I am so thankful for this opportunity to learn from you, Brian and your assistants.
Thank you again for everything. This program really is amazing and it has changed not only the way I practice but how I think about Chinese medicine overall. Coming from a Five Elemental education made it extra challenging at times, but it has really opened my eyes to the possibilities and all the different ways I can help people. Thank you for your brain!
The SMAC program has transformed my practice. This education has made the biggest impact on my career as an acupuncturist, more than any other training I’ve completed. It has given me the tools to understand the body to properly diagnose and treat almost any orthopaedic ailment that comes through the door. Equally as important, it has allowed me access to a massive community of support to call on with questions or guide me with any uncertainty I may have with difficult cases.
The strategies and protocols I learned with SMAC have resulted in incredible positive changes for the athletes I treat. Truthfully, without SMAC I would not be anywhere near where I currently am in my career.
I don’t even know how I would practice if it wasn’t for the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification (SMAC) program. I was introduced to it back in acupuncture school because Brian Lau was my teacher, and I am forever grateful that he turned me onto it. His passion for anatomy is infectious, as is his way of thinking about combining it with Chinese Medicine.
I went into this field not because I want to work with a sports team, but because I actually understand Traditional Chinese Medicine better when I have a better understanding of anatomy and physiology and the structures of the body that we’re working with. I’m incredibly grateful to this program because it put all that together for me in a way that I could understand with my Western brain, yet is still in sync with Chinese Medicine.
I feel I have a lifetime of study ahead of me to refine these skills, but I never would have gotten here if it weren’t for the SMAC program. It put me on a trajectory for the most interesting work I could have possibly found, and I am so excited to move forward with it.

I want to thank Matt Callison and Brian Lau for this wonderful, amazing system of medicine called Sports Medicine Acupuncture.
I am getting more and more difficult cases, where the patient has tried everything — PT, chiro, surgeries — and hasn’t gotten the relief they needed to live active lives. Then when I use what I have been taught and go step-by-step through their cases with assessment and treatments, I’m getting positive RESULTS!! It keeps me inspired, motivated and wanting to keep going. Thank you guys. And thanks to my many SMAC colleagues for answering ALL of my questions!!
Medicine is always evolving and so does SMAC. This weekend we completed the first virtual classes and I am so happy to say they delivered! I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to learn the same as in person, but I am beyond impressed by the amount of information they delivered and how well it was perceived. I can tell a lot of work and effort went into this because they make it look easy and cohesive.
I can’t say this enough, YOU GUYS ROCK! I feel very fortunate to have you in our profession because you elevate our standards time after time. The passion you put into teaching is very impressive, and it SHOWS! I can’t wait to start incorporating the things I learned into my treatments.
Matt Callison’s sports acupuncture courses changed my practice in a big way. I had a bad ankle that was quite resistant to getting well and I volunteered to be the model for a demonstration. Matt had quiet, sure hands and released something “ropey” on my lateral calf. That leg never bothered me again. I chronically sprained that ankle since I was a kid. Never sprained it again in 20 years.
I signed up for every course I could get myself to over the next couple of years and learned more about anatomy, physiology and muscle testing than I even knew existed. Since then I have become the go-to lady for all ankle injuries. I am now a very good manual therapist and can unlock much more than ankles. Even decades-old injuries that are off the charts for complexity can be accessed and repaired.
What I really enjoy about SMA is that it is deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and didn’t turn me into a Western soft tissue guy. The idea that Spleen and Stomach Channels could rob Kidney and Bladder Channels just like in Five Element Theory, for instance, just woke me up and set my feet on a new and exciting adventure. Thanks to Sports Medicine Acupuncture and to Matt Callison.
Thank you Matt, Patricia and the assistants who helped everyone in all of the SMAC classes that I have taken. I am BLOWN AWAY by the amount of information taught in these courses, and it is quickly clinically applicable. I am seeing increased results. And Matt, you were right… 1st day back from class, my first patient was a seminar case and a new patient with SI joint pain and I used Gillet’s test! I am so grateful for this work you are doing and I can’t wait to come back! You are a true trailblazer and I am so excited to have found the SMAC program.
This is the education I wish I had in acupuncture school: hands-on classes with expert instruction, from teachers who communicate effectively to convey knowledge. From the first class, I experienced better patient outcomes, greater awareness and understanding of anatomy, and more confidence treating my patients.
I get so pumped during the Sports Medicine Acupuncture seminars! I’ve signed up for the entire program and am currently attending the second Module — Lower Back and Hip. My confidence in this medicine is growing even more and I’m very excited to be able to help so many people with pain issues that are stubborn or seem impossible to get rid of. I highly recommend this program to my fellow acupuncture practitioners and encourage them to attend Matt Callison’s seminars.
The three-day cadaver dissection course was incredibly insightful. It really opened my eyes to how various parts of the body connect, and I was even surprised by some of these connections. They introduced a needle lab on the final day, which was a standout for me. It was designed for anyone wanting to get better at needling techniques, particularly in areas many were uncomfortable with before.
For those looking to deepen their understanding of the anatomy related to needling, this course is a solid investment. The instructors, Matt Callison and Brian Lau, did a fantastic job in making the dissection process both educational and engaging. Incorporating this type of hands-on learning into the curriculum of TCM schools would be a game-changer for our field.
Matt is the best acupuncture teacher I have ever had. These classes changed my practice and made me feel that I could treat almost anything that came into my clinic. So much hands-on practice including clinical assessments and needling. The assistants are kind and helpful. Plus, he provides chocolate!
I am 3/4 of the way towards completing this program and I can tell you this: the level of successful treatments I’ve been giving patients since embarking on this journey has increased by at least 50%. I now speak the same ‘language’ with orthopedic surgeons, pain specialists and physical therapists, which has allowed me an open door to more referrals from them.
I have been studying with Matt for approximately 15 years now and taking ‘the plunge’ to commit to the entire coursework has made such a difference for my approach to healing. I cannot thank Matt enough, nor can I say enough about this program!
My entire practice is built around this treatment style and approach. I have so many passionate 5-star reviews on my Yelp page and every one of them is a tribute to the knowledge and hands-on experience I gained directly through Matt’s program and assisting at his clinic.
I’m currently taking the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification program (SMAC) under Matt Callison. I have just completed three out of the four modules. It gives you a great edge as an acupuncture practitioner. It teaches you a systematic approach for being able to accurately assess and treat a musculoskeletal pain condition, which is what I’m seeing daily in my practice. This program is everything I was looking to get in school and didn’t.
I highly recommend it, especially for those who like to stay grounded in anatomy and orthopedic evaluation. It’s extremely useful especially when communicating with medical doctors, physical therapists and chiropractors. Thank you Matt, Brian, Ian and all the wonderful assistants who make this program a successful and wonderful learning experience.

The Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification (SMAC) program was the best option I found for treating orthopedic and sports injuries, and it surpassed my expectations of continuing education. I was pleased that the program placed a large emphasis on TCM in assessment and treatment of meridians, sinew channels, traditional acupuncture points; even zang-fu diagnosis was discussed as it ties in with musculoskeletal injuries. A true blend of TCM and Sports Medicine.
Since starting and now graduating from the SMAC program, I have found every treatment I apply is incorporating the diagnoses, assessments and treatments I have learned from this training. I have been able to build my practice; my patient load has tripled! I am treating injuries in regular patients, active people and also professional athletes, which was my goal in coming into the program. I applaud this program! Thank you!

I just finished my third SMAC module, and I was once again incredibly impressed with the dedication of Matt and the entire teaching team. Although the students are always exhausted by the end of the day, we get to go home and relax every night. Matt and the teaching team, on the other hand, arrive early and stay late and always have time to answer our questions. Matt clearly cares that we truly learn the material and understand how to apply in clinic what we learn in the classroom. All of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and patient; they are the linchpins of SMAC.
The SMAC courses are taught by a team of fantastic teachers that demonstrate diligence, compassion and a drive for furthering the medicine in a way that is true to anatomical structure and function, while drawing from the brilliance of traditional Chinese medicine.
It’s been a chance to study with dedicated teachers and engaged classmates while learning a system of assessment and treatment that is clinically applicable, effective, cutting edge, and so much fun! If you want all the science without losing the magic, these courses are for you.
The material you have compiled has focused the way I practice in a way I didn’t think possible. Through your SMAC program I have acquired the tools to work in a way that produces clear results — results both my patients and I can see. I’ve always enjoyed practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine but your instruction has elevated my interest to a whole new level.
Thank you for a fantastic education that combined elements of TCM with Western medicine so elegantly. I have learned so much about the human body and how the musculoskeletal system functions. You have inspired my curiosity and helped me understand and gain confidence in muscle function, as well as when to apply orthopedic tests in order to identify an injury. This program has also made me a much better acupuncturist with all of the different needle techniques we have learned and practiced.
It has been a ten-month adventure with lots of hard work: ten months with frustration and joy, friendship and support, and the feeling of wanting to learn more. The travel from Oslo, Norway was well worth it.
The SMAC program has reinvigorated my practice. The knowledge I’ve gained has given me new tools to diagnose and treat my clients, and the SMAC techniques are extraordinarily effective. Word of my effectiveness is spreading, and my practice has become busier than ever. I have been offered a position as team acupuncturist with a professional cycling team for multi-day stage races, am the team acupuncturist for a local climbing gym, and treat professional cyclists, including two Olympians, top-ranked ultramarathon runners, UFC fighters, and many other athletes.
If you are serious about assessing and treating sports and work-related injuries, no program will take you further than SMAC!
When I began the SMAC program, I had been licensed for less than a year and I was barely seeing 10 patients per week. Once I began incorporating what I learned into my practice, I almost instantly doubled my practice, and now that I am 3/4 of the way through the program, I am seeing 25–30 patients a week.
My patients have been reporting significant improvement with their first treatment, and the results last. I have even had a patient tell me that I nailed her diagnosis and treatment plan before her physical therapist did! Thank you!
I have been a true believer and advocate for the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification program created by Matt Callison since my first introduction when it was being taught at NESA in Boston in 2012. SMAC was the missing, yet essential, piece that helped to elevate my game in properly assessing, diagnosing, and effectively treating simple to complex musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
SMAC also gave me the proper language to communicate effectively with practitioners in more Western medicine, including chiropractors, physical therapists, and rehabilitative trainers, which allowed me to create a network of like-minded professionals whose goal is to collectively and integratively get our patients back in the game.

As an acupuncturist who works with athletes, from the professional to the weekend warrior, I have found that this course is the perfect synthesis of Western and Eastern thinking. It is the perfect complement to the Traditional Chinese Medicine way of treating the whole person.
Unlike many acupuncture modalities that give you recipes of acupuncture points for various pathologies without providing adequate reasoning, SMAC gives you a framework for assessment and treatment for orthopedic pathologies based on anatomy and biomechanics. By the end of the program, I felt confident enough to form a sound assessment and make a treatment plan for orthopedic issues that I have not encountered before; it is a platform for logical thinking.
I also appreciated that Matt did not simply cover the material, but cared to really teach the material. I especially enjoyed when Matt shared how he made new discoveries, such as better orthopedic tests, safer needling techniques, or different ways of using the channel theory. He thinks about things.
After some initial success in providing treatments for a veteran based on my Sports Medicine Acupuncture® Certification (SMAC) program knowledge, I recently provided some treatments to several former soldiers. The success of the treatments astounded me. These guys had experienced injuries from improvised explosive devices, ranging from debilitating back pain to the inability to grip a coffee cup to excruciating foot pain.
With the knowledge that I gained in the SMAC program, I was able to find the source of the pain using orthopedic exams and manual muscle testing and then provide conservative solutions, including the acupuncture needle techniques, channel correspondences and corrective exercises I learned, where surgery or opiate-based pharmaceuticals were the only offered alternatives.

When I graduated acupuncture school, I had enjoyed orthopedic-style acupuncture treatments the most, but because it was only a small portion of my education, I found my treatments lacking in focus and direction. Then I found the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification program.
The anatomical focus of structural diagnostics and specific needle techniques allows me to integrate into Western medical clinical settings with solid communication skills, clinical effectiveness and grounded confidence. Since taking the program, I have become credentialed and employed within a hospital to do inpatient treatments, created an acupuncture portion of a hospital-based physical, occupational and speech therapy program, and joined an orthopedic physician’s outpatient pain management group. Thank you from my heart.
Matt Callison is passionate about his work and his art, and this passion is palpable in each and every class that he taught in the SMAC program. He is not content with his students just showing up and taking notes. When necessary, he will pause and even backtrack if he feels that he has left anyone behind. Matt is, by far, the most dynamic teacher that I have ever had the privilege to study with.
He is caring and patient with his students but will also challenge you to think it out so that you understand the material rather than just memorize it. He generously gives us every morsel of what he knows but at the same time “teaches us to fish” so that we can use it as an effective approach in our clinical practice. Matt Callison is the epitome of how modern acupuncture should be taught!
My practice has nearly doubled since I’ve been applying SMAC, and after taking the final, I feel like I now have the confidence in the orthopedic examination process, which has been giving my patients a lot more confidence in me. Today, someone thanked me for explaining what the MRI report of their shoulder meant in layman’s terms. The fact that I was able to do that was due to your class!

Very rarely had I seen a combination of deep knowledge in anatomy with a high level of understanding of TCM channel and meridian theories and practice. It is amazing what you have linked together in these two very different worlds. I feel very lucky that from tons of CEU courses I chose this one series just out of pure instinct.
The course helped me the most in getting much more detailed and precise assessment. It also provided a brand new direction of thinking when seeing other treatment modalities either work wonders or not work at all.
My schedule is so full that I’ve been working extended hours… and it’s all thanks to the SMAC program! I’m getting such good results with my treatments that my reputation has grown and my schedule is filling up weeks in advance.
Something powerful happens when a patient comes in with their pain and I start to do the visual assessment. As I reflect back what I see in their body and put into words what they feel is “off,” a transformation begins to happen long before I insert the first needle. SMAC has given me that sight, and the language to explain what I’m seeing in a meaningful and therapeutic way. And best of all is the hope and relief it gives to a person when I can confidently say, “Yes, we can change that, let’s get to work.”
SMAC is the best investment I’ve ever made. It’s worth every penny and every long, grueling day of study. It’s the most advanced study I’ve ever undertaken and the results are immediate and profound for my patients and my practice.
