This is a hands-on workshop that focuses on the identification, palpation, and needling of myofascial trigger points associated with the head, neck, and shoulder. The techniques learned in the seminar are invaluable in the treatment of many pain conditions and are easily incorporated into an existing acupuncture practice. At the conclusion of the seminar the practitioner will have an anatomical understanding of trigger points, as well as peripheral and central sensitization. They will have an understanding of the role trigger points play in the channel system as well as key clinical signs to recognize when employing trigger point needling. Lastly they will have gained confidence in needling sensitive structures of the head, neck, chest, and upper back outside of their standard education.

AcuSport Education Cancellation Terms
AcuSport Education reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If AcuSport Education is forced to cancel an event, a full refund of the tuition paid will be granted to the registered student. AcuSport Education will not pay for travel costs incurred due to a cancelled class.
NOTE: Once you register for a specific 3 Day Cadaver Lab, we cannot change or swap the dates that you attend. So, if you are registered for the May class, we cannot move your registration to October. If you register for October, we cannot change your registration to a future date.
All cancellation guidelines still apply though so you can still cancel anytime up to 45 days before the class for a partial refund (less 8% and $50). After that, no refunds can be honored for any reason. We apologize, but due to the nature of this class and the cost of the cadaver, we do not have the flexibility to offer credit. You can transfer your spot to a colleague though! Just let us know who will be filling your seat and we will get them set up.
