SUMMARY:Trigger Point Needling of the Abdominals\, Low Back\, Hip and Thigh
DESCRIPTION:This class will teach acupuncturists how to palpate for\, locate and treat pain producing myofascial trigger points of the abdominals\, low back\, hip and thigh. Emphasis will be on technique and how to integrate this information into a full treatment to increase therapeutic outcome with common pain syndromes and movement dysfunctions of the abdominals\, low back\, hip and thigh. \nClass Date/Time\nAugust 29-30\, 2026 \n\nSaturday 8am-6pm\nSunday 8am-5pm\n\nInstructor(s)\nJoseph Bickle\, L.Ac.\, C.SMA \nCEUs\n17 CEU’s-NCCAOM approved \nEnrollment Requirements\nTo register for this Sports Medicine Acupuncture (SMA) live\, in-person course\, the attendee must: \n\nUnderstand and agree to the AcuSport Education Agreement Form (see below)\nBe a licensed Acupuncturist and provide proof of: 1-diploma from an ACAOM-accredited or equivalent Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture school with a minimum of 2\,000 hours of acupuncture and TCM training\, 2-active license\, and 3-active malpractice insurance OR be a current Acupuncture student and provide proof of current matriculation at an ACAOM-accredited or equivalent Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture school\n\nRegistration Information\nUpon submitting your registration for this course\, you will receive a “Registration Pending” email that provides you with detailed information about how to easily upload required documents to our secure Dropbox folder. If AcuSport Education is forced to cancel an event\, a full refund of the tuition paid will be granted to the registered student. AcuSport Education will not pay for travel costs incurred due to a cancelled class. \nNOTE: Once you register for a specific 3 Day Cadaver Lab\, we cannot change or swap the dates that you attend. So\, if you are registered for the May class\, we cannot move your registration to October. If you register for October\, we cannot change your registration to a future date. \nAll cancellation guidelines still apply though so you can still cancel anytime up to 45 days before the class for a partial refund (less 8% and $50). After that\, no refunds can be honored for any reason. We apologize\, but due to the nature of this class and the cost of the cadaver\, we do not have the flexibility to offer credit.
